Day one, time to pull it back in the shop for the transformation
Day one -big tires and rims
Day one final shot.
Day two, new D.U.I Electronic ignition distributor
The original coil and breaker-point distributor
I remember the early days of breaker points and what a paint they were to keep cleaned and adjusted.
The original distributor on the left, and the new D.U.I unit on the right. My, that's a big one!
With the old distributor removed, and the area cleaned, it's time for the new unit.
Installing the new electronic distributor
It's in place and the engine runs great. Next, I will add plug wire separators to sort out the new wires.
Sandman wrapping the bumper prior to painting
We sanded the glovebox for re-painting
The glovebox primed and ready for paint. Wait until you see the decal that will go here.
The entire jeep has been taped off for the new coat of paint
Tomorrow we'll roll it out and shoot it.
