April 10, 2008. It was foggy and a swell was still rolling in from a recent storm.
I headed down to 1st. St. @ Va. Beach to shoot the surf action.
These pics are mostly in their raw form with a few tweaks done here and there. Most were shot from the rock jetty. It was strangely quite sitting out there in the fog with only the surfers in view. The only sounds were a distant for horn, breaking waves, and the hoots from the riders as they took off.
Later that day I met a guy named Ricky J. I just happened to shoot him the most since his surfing style really stood out.
